        ABOUT BERNHARD J. SPIEKER

      A Little about me
     I am 52 years old.  I am of 1/2 Argentinean and 1/2 German decent.  I am married to my wonderful wife Lisa and have a 11 year old son named Sebastian.  I live in Fredericksburg, VA.  I have been teaching for 25 years. I have taught 6 years in North Carolina and up until now, was at King George High School for 17 years, Massaponax High School for 1 year and am excited to continue being a Spotsylvania Knight for 2020 after a successful year here last year.

                  Education

     I graduated Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) in 1997 and I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Teaching Secondary Spanish Education.

I also have a Bachelors of Arts degree from IUP in Spanish for International Trade.

       Cultural Experience

 

     I have roots in Córdoba and Buenos Aires, Argentina.  I have visited Argenitna many times in my life learning the culture and customs of my family.  My travels there have given me about 8 months living in Argentina.
